LumiSTAR® Lumistar Latent Blood Detection Reagent
The Lumistar latent blood detection reagent is a novel, high-sensitivity chemiluminescent reagent specifically developed for latent blood searching. Upon contact with blood, the reagent immediately emits a high-intensity visible light that lasts for several minutes, unaffected by the color of the substrate. It can detect blood diluted up to 100,000 times, enabling rapid detection and localization of trace, diluted, or latent blood stains on dark surfaces.
The Lumistar series includes Green Light and Blue Light versions (each box contains 2 sets of Green Light and 1 set of Blue Light):
Green Light reagent is a light green solution that emits high-brightness green light upon contact with blood.
Blue Light reagent is a colorless, non-fluorescent solution that emits blue light upon contact with blood.

Video Overview

Features:
Safe and environmentally friendly. Uses a water-based solvent for safer application.
Instant luminescence. Emits high-intensity light highly visible to the human eye immediately upon contact with blood.
Simple operation. Direct spraying avoids damaging bloodstains through pre-treatment processes.
High brightness. Luminescence intensity is enhanced more than 50 times compared to luminol.
Long-lasting luminescence. Luminescence duration is increased more than 10 times compared to luminol.
Wide adaptability. Suitable for various substrate surfaces.
High sensitivity. Clearly reveals bloodstains diluted up to 100,000 times.
Pattern development. When uniformly atomized, the reagent clearly reveals bloodstain patterns with sharp outlines.
Stable reagent. No need for fresh preparation before use; shelf life exceeds 18 months at room temperature.
Does not damage DNA. Allows for subsequent DNA profile analysis.
